In this episode I go behind the scenes with legend, Les Brown where he gives advice on how to get moving, build your own business, and get your message out there. I have found that most of my students have a problem getting past start. What do I mean? Well, most have a great idea, or at least they think they do, but stay in the IDEA phase and never get moving with it.
There are many reasons why someone gets stuck. The main reason is not having faith that they have a good enough idea, or that people will like them. I have found that the right people will show up in your life when you need them, as long as you stay-in-motion. Les talks about how he was able to get over being labeled educable mentally retarded and failing the fifth grade when he was younger.
He goes on to say how he went on to build a $65 million dollar company, speaking to thousands of people, and motivating others ,as well as how he was able to believe in himself even though he never went to college. Les also shares how he was able to stop listening to the negative voices in his head that kept telling him he wasn’t good enough. Les believes it’s all possible, you just need to be Hungry and want it bad enough and you will show up and do what is necessary to win.
